A documentary about the actor and cinema, and the fascination the acting profession exerts on people across backgrounds and generations. Beginners and veterans alike, those taking their first steps and those who fight every day to realize their dream, are given a chance to reflect on their experiences in front of the camera. What are their hopes, their fears, their disillusionments? What mysterious alchemy feeds the passion for acting, for giving life to somebody else’s fantasy? Through a series of filmed one-on-one interviews, Gobron explores these questions, in an attempt to uncover the child hidden behind the actor's mask.
